Season Five (2007)

Time for the first trip of the season! Headed up to Vermont a week before Memorial Day, and even though it was a bit cold, the heat in the trailer held up well. Got there even before they graded the road for the season, so was able to shake out the trailer over the washboard road. Then the wakeup call, as the road grader picked that weekend to maintain the road. 6AM. Just brutal.

Ok, chatted with the driver for a bit, (a really nice guy, too!) and started the fire for breakfast. Even offered some breakfast to the driver when he came back down the road. What a difference a grader makes! Nice and smooth now. Other than that, the trip was very nice and uneventful as far as the trailer went. Got through the whole trip without anything breaking!

Went through the rest of the summer without going anywhere, then it was....

Concert time! Took the trailer up to Normandy Farms Campground, and got the traditional T-10 site. Parked the trailer in the right direction this time, with the door on the correct side. That was a plus! The concert was the best, with 7th row seating and pre-show backstage passes. It also just happens that Normandy Farms is just a few minutes down the road from Gillette Stadium, which was the venue for the concert this year. Had some friends come up and meet at the campground before the show, and we had a cookout to get the 'ol energy up before Jimmy came on stage. A great time was had by all!
